About 59 people were killed at a Las Vegas concert, and Trump describes the attack as "absolute evil"
President Donald Trump described the shooting in Las Vegas as an absolute evil.
At least 59 people were killed and 515 taken to hospital after a shooting incident at a concert in Las Vegas.
Local police said the name of the bomber was Steven Paddock, a 64-year-old resident of the area, who was shot from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel on an open-air concert attended by 22,000 people.
Police raided the hotel room where Paduk was located, found him dead and found several guns.
This is the worst shooting incident in the United States in recent years.
US President Donald Trump said in a tweet on Twitter that he was sending "his deepest condolences" to the victims and their families, and said the shooting was "appalling".
Officer Joe Lombardo of Las Vegas police described the attack as a "single wolf" attack. He said there was no information on Paduc's motives.
"We have no information about his beliefs," he said.
He said police were now sure she knew the location of a woman named Marilo Daneli who was believed to have been with the attacker before the attack.
Lombardo said he could not give accurate information about the dead and injured, but confirmed that two policemen were out of their hours.

Hundreds fled the scene. What appeared to be a prolonged gunfight could be heard in video recordings from the scene.
Police prevented entry and exit from a number of hotels adjacent to the scene, and parts of the Las Vegas area remained closed.

An English witness named Mike Thompson told the BBC that he saw people running in total panic.
"The blood covered a man and then I knew something had happened," Thompson said.
"People were running and there was chaos," he said.
Mike Magari, one of the ceremony's leaders, told Reuters news agency that he had warned his children to lie down when he heard the shooting.
"They are twenty, I am fifty-three, and I have lived a good life."
Thompson and his sons survived.
